Let it Ride
This poker version is different than our other types. The dealer doesn’t receive own cards in this game, and the player attempts to get the best 5-card hand possible, with payouts starting at a Pair of Tens or better. Let it Ride is somewhat similar to video poker.
In BetVoyager’s version, we have altered the standard rules in order to increase payouts when the player wins (see table 1). Furthermore, the player can play on four boxes at once and view all his cards as soon as they are dealt. The basic rules of casino poker are described in our Guide section.
BetVoyager features our conventional version of Let it Ride and a version with no house edge.
The player can play on up to four boxes. The player can place an ante and/or a bet on the bonus on any box.
The minimum bet and the maximum payout are clearly stated for each game table, and there is no maximum bet. If you play more than one box, the ante amounts cannot be 5 times more or less than each other.
Each box in play is dealt three cards. The cards on all boxes are turned face-up immediately after the deal. Furthermore, there are two cards placed face-down, which represent the table’s community cards. The goal of the game is to get a high 5-card poker combination (the three cards in the box and two community cards).
The player can raise his initial bet by 1 ANTE or may continue without raising the bet. After he has made a decision on every box in play, one of the community cards is uncovered. At this point, the player again has the option of raising his bet by 1 ANTE, regardless of whether he used this option during the last round. As such, the total wager on each box can be 1, 2, or 3 ANTES.
After the player has made a decision on every box, the second community card is uncovered and the final results are determined. If the player has a Pair of Tens or better, the total wager is paid according to table 1. Otherwise, the player loses his entire wager.
Before the cards are dealt, the player chooses which boxes he wants to play on and makes his ANTE. In addition to this basic bet on the box (or instead of it), the player can also make a bonus bet. With this bet, the player is betting that he will be dealt a high poker combination (Two Pair or better) in his five cards, which consist of three cards in the box and two community cards.
Each table indicates the minimum ANTE and the maximum payout on it. The maximum payout on both the basic bet and the bonus bet is the same, and the player can receive the maximum win for both bets at once. The minimum bonus bet is defined by the cheapest chip allowed at the table.
Each box has the following three figures: a square, an ellipse, and a rectangle. The ANTE is placed on the ellipse and the bonus bet is placed on the square. The BET is placed on the rectangle (see paragraph 6).
To make a bet, it is first necessary to choose a chip with the desired face-value. At the beginning of the game, this chip is chosen by default, and the chip with the minimum face-value fixes itself onto the cursor. If the player wants a chip with a different face-value, he can select it by clicking on that chip with the cursor. The player can also use the scroll wheel on his mouse to change the chip’s value. After the chip is selected, the player can place a bet by clicking the mouse on the desired part of the game table and his bet will appear there. Each subsequent click adds another chip of the selected face-value to the bet. If the player wants to remove the last chip from his bet, he can remove the chip fixed onto the cursor by clicking the cursor on any empty part of the game window and then clicking on this bet.
The "Clear" button can be pressed to remove all the bets from the table. If the player wishes to repeat his bets from the previous hand, he can press the "Rebet" button. The "Deal" button will begin the game after all bets have been made.
The player has two options on each box:
- raise the initial wager by making a BET equal to the ANTE (the "Bet" button)
- continue the game without raising the wager (the "Go on" button)
After the player has made a decision on every box in play, one of the community cards is uncovered. At this point, the player again chooses one of the two alternatives described in paragraph 6.
The second community card is uncovered and the final results are determined, including the player’s ANTE, any BETS, and his bet on the bonus. The payouts for these bets are shown in table 1.
Table 1. Payout for the ANTE/BET and the Bonus Bet
|Four of a Kind||50:1||200:1|
|Three of a Kind||3:1||15:1|
|Tens or Better||1:1||—|
Let it Ride with No House Edge features a slightly different payout scheme. It can be viewed in the game window. Please note that the casino doesn’t have any advantage on the ante wager, but it retains its advantage for any bets on the bonus.
